Description:
Our client is seeking a proactive and community-focused Community Engagement Officer to join their social housing team in Chatham. In this role, you will be instrumental in building strong relationships with residents, gathering valuable feedback, and organizing events and initiatives to foster community spirit and improve resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between residents and the housing team, ensuring resident needs and concerns are understood and addressed.
• Conduct regular engagement sessions to gather feedback on services and identify areas for improvement.
• Organize and coordinate community events and programs to strengthen community bonds and promote resident well-being.
• Collaborate with local organizations, social services, and other stakeholders to provide resources and support for residents.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate feedback and recommendations for enhancing community engagement.

Requirements:

• Experience in community engagement, social housing, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for working with diverse communities.
• Proven ability to organize events and manage projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to drive positive change.
• Familiarity with social housing operations and resident services is a plus.
