Housing Support Assistant - Tenancy Management Team - 3 Permanent Posts
Pembrokeshire County Council's Housing Management Service is seeking three enthusiastic and organised Housing Support Assistants to join our dedicated team - three permanent roles.
You will provide vital administrative and operational support across Housing Advice, Allocations, the Housing Register, and Tenancy Management. As the first point of contact for enquiries, you'll deliver excellent customer service and offer front-line advice in line with current housing legislation and policy. You will also support the Choice Homes @ Pembrokeshire (CH@P) Housing Allocation Scheme, collating property details, maintaining accurate records, and distributing weekly adverts. Other duties include preparing correspondence, processing invoices, monitoring housing funding, maintaining databases, and assisting with reports and meetings.
The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE level (A Level or equivalent desirable), with strong IT and communication skills, and experience working under pressure to meet deadlines. You'll be capable of working both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and methodical approach to your work.
This is an office-based role shared across local areas within the Tenancy department, with periodic working from County Hall. The role requires professionalism, empathy, and excellent organisational skills.
