Job description
Full Time, Permanent

Location: Based at 100 Temple Street & home working by agreement.

Are you passionate about housing and homelessness issues? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly team who is interested in homelessness issues, has good IT, liaison and co-ordination skills, and ideally, experience in working with referral or placement accommodation registers.

The focus of this role is to help improve the interface and communication between commissioned temporary accommodation, support services for homeless households and the referral routes/operational aspects of our Housing Support Register.

Based within Housing Options, you will work closely with members of the Commissioning and Contracts team & the team that administers the Housing Support Register and other key stakeholders. You will also assist in working collectively to create more fluid, efficient and outcome focused processes to ensure that data inputting is accurate.

If you are interested in helping create a better experience for homeless clients and are engaged and solution-focused, we would like to hear from you.

The work is varied and in a typical week you might visit a commissioned provider to discuss possible improvements to how sensitive client information is recorded and shared, run a training session for new users of the Housing Support Register, clarify with operational colleagues on commissioning intentions in terms of referrals to a particular service and look at technical solutions to improving how rough sleeper information can be analysed.

You should be very confident working with spreadsheets and placement data, have good written and verbal communication and to compliment your training skills.
