- Conduct regular home visits to assess tenants' needs and identify any additional support required.
- Assist residents in accessing social services, benefits, and other resources that can enhance their well-being.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to address each tenant's specific circumstances.
- Work collaboratively with local agencies, charities, and support networks to ensure a holistic approach to tenant care.
- Monitor the progress of support plans, making adjustments as needed to achieve positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and support activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly to crisis situations, providing immediate support to tenants in urgent need.
- Previous experience in a housing support role or similar position within the social housing sector.
- Strong understanding of tenancy management, social services, and benefits available to vulnerable individuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with tenants and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a genuine desire to help others improve their lives.
- Knowledge of safeguarding principles and practices.
- A valid driving license is desirable for conducting home visits.
