Refugee Resettlement Housing Coordinator
Role Responsibility
Exciting new opportunity for an experienced housing specialist to join our small, dynamic refugee resettlement team within Kent County Council.
Working closely with the Kent district housing authorities, the successful applicant will ensure that newly arriving refugee families have access to safe and affordable housing. We are looking for someone who has knowledge and insight around all aspects of the housing sector and is able to identify, assess and appraise new housing solutions for refugee resettlement.
This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification
This is a fixed term position Until 31st March 2026.
