About this role...

We are looking for a Senior Practitioner to join the IHASS team.

Prevention services support vulnerable people by providing them with skills, housing advice, accommodation, and tenancy sustainment support. All these services to help people transition towards leading independent lives.

We will not accept applications where Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been used to assist with completing the competency questions.

You will:
  • Lead delivery of high-quality support for individuals transitioning from rough sleeping into private rented accommodation across six South London boroughs.
  • Provide formal supervision, professional development, and line management for two support workers, including addressing performance or conduct issues in line with Thames Reach procedures.
  • Manage a small caseload, ensuring consistent delivery of person-centred, outcome-focused support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address gaps in cross-borough provision, improving outcomes for individuals with complex needs.
  • Represent Thames Reach at external meetings and forums, promoting the organisation's work and maintaining strategic partnerships.
  • Produce timely and accurate reports, data, and analysis to support effective service management by the Lead Manager and Area Manager.
