- Community Safety Manager
- c£60,000 per annum
- Home based with regular national travel.
- Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
You will take ownership of our community safety strategy, collaborate with external partners such as local authorities and police, and provide expert guidance across the organisation. This is a key leadership role with the scope to make a real and lasting impact.
What will success look like in the role?
- Safer, more cohesive communities with measurable reductions in anti-social behaviour and safety-related incidents.
- Strong, productive partnerships with multi-agency stakeholders.
- Effective delivery of community safety programmes and compliance frameworks.
- Clear, confident advice provided to internal teams, driving a consistent approach to safety and risk.
- Positive feedback from residents, partners, and colleagues on the visibility and effectiveness of safety initiatives.
- Experience leading community safety, safeguarding, public protection, or related services within a housing setting.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and best practice.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to manage complex caseloads and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and partnership-building skills.
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals and managing sensitive information
- A proactive, problem-solving approach with the confidence to make informed decisions.
- A collaborative leader who brings teams and partners together to achieve shared outcomes.
- Highly organised, analytical, and capable of interpreting data to inform actions.
- Calm under pressure with excellent judgement and professional resilience.
- Passionate about community wellbeing and driven to deliver meaningful change.
- Confident in managing incidents, escalating risks, and ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
- Skilled in designing and delivering community-focused interventions and training.
