Location: West Ham Lane, Stratford. Working on site in L&Q's West region covering Oxford, north London and Crawley.

L&Q is looking for an ambitious graduate to join our busy and supportive Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund team (SHDF) to train as a SHDF Delivery Lead Graduate. The role requires the successful candidate to act as the client's representative on-site for major improvement works and ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with the relevant design specifications and instructions.
Areas of responsibility will include, but are not exclusive to, site visits carrying out inspections (to ensure works are completed to a high standard), producing reports and updating on the contractor progress, and effectively managing the contractor relationship ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and safely.
As an SHDF Delivery Lead Graduate you will be engaged in a challenging role from day one and be accountable for your area of responsibility whilst being supported by a Partnership team and line manager to guide and develop skills where required.
Strong organisation skills are essential to this role as well as excellent communication and an understanding of what first-class customer service skills are.
We are looking for a candidate with resilience, enthusiasm and a passion to help people.
The successful candidate should hold a full licence and have access to a car. As frequent travel to site within the Wes Region is an essential part of the role. (Oxford, North London and Crawley),
The learning will support your development and chosen career path. Whilst undertaking your learning programme, your manager will help guide your development and day-to-day work, a mentor will provide extra support throughout your role, and you'll be working alongside experienced colleagues to learn hands-on, work-based skills.
Qualification Requirements
• Degree in a Construction or a similar discipline essential or substantial experience working in Retrofit
• GCSE grade C or above in English and maths (or equivalent)
Other skills and experience include:
• Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines.
• Good IT skills including experience using all Microsoft office products including excel and databases.
• Good customer service skills.
• Self-motivated.
Person Requirements
• Passionate about working in decarbonisation.
• Demonstrate resilience and tenacity.
• communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Must be able to work in the UK.
Qualification details:
You will complete a Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator Diploma with the Retrofit Academy .
