Job description
We are looking for a motivated team player to join our team providing supported housing for adults with mental health needs. Our services are delivered across two different sites around the city and are residential and day service settings. We are looking for someone who can.

To support the provision of recovery focussed reablement housing for homeless or at risk of being homeless adults with mental health problems.

To actively empower customers to develop their support network and living skills hence enabling them to be able to live in the community as independent as possible.

  • Be involved and implement support plans.
  • Be responsible for maintaining the Health and Safety of our customers and the building.
  • Provide practical support to customers to prepare them for independent living.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience of using electronic systems.
You will be someone with some experience of working with adults with mental health needs and a willingness to undertake training as needed. High levels of interpersonal skills are essential to the role

Your normal working weekly hours are 37 worked over a 4 week rolling fixed pattern rota. You main base will be at 22 The Avenue.

Details of the rota/shift pattern will be provided to you by your manager.

Your start and finish times will be as advised by your manager.

Your job requires you to work at weekends and as such you will qualify for an allowance for those hours worked.

As this role is public facing, applicants will need to demonstrate, at interview, their competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public, in spoken English to CEFR level B1: Can exploit a wide range of simple language flexibly to express much of what they want. Can keep going comprehensibly, even though pausing for grammatical land lexical planning and repair is very evident, especially in longer stretches of free production.
