We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Housing Repairs and Maintenance as a Housing Support Finance Officer.

The role:

We are seeking a full time Housing Support Finance Officer to join our team. The role supports our Invoice team in the day-to-day operation and administration of the housing repairs and maintenance, ensuring timely transactions are processed accurately, efficiently and met audit requirements.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:
  • Completing jobs on different software's (Orchard and Total Mobile)
  • Using Finance Code to code and Invoice.
  • Paying Invoice on Business Central
  • Deal with Invoices, Credit Notes, Delivery Tickets and Statements.
  • Dealing with internal and external emails.
  • Raising PO orders for Invoices and for other members of staff to use.
What you will need:

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required as well as being able to work independently and as part of a team. Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads will support success in this position.

Applicants should have 4 GCSEs at grades A-C (or equivalent), including Maths and English, or be able to demonstrate strong numeracy and literacy through experience. Business related qualifications, such as an NVQ Level 2, are desirable but not essential.
