We are looking for:

1 x Permanent, Full Time role (37 hours per week)

2 x Permanent, Part Time roles (18.5 hours per week)

Are you passionate about promoting health and wellbeing? Do you want to make a positive difference in the lives of older adults? We are seeking a dedicated Independent Living Assistant to join our team and support customers aged 50+ in Stockport.

The Independent Living Assistant will provide a varied and appropriate programme of physical / health and wellbeing promotion activities based around the needs and wishes of customers aged around 50+ living within a designated geographical area of Stockport. You will assist customers in arranging outings and events, supporting them to take the lead to ensure sustainability moving forward.

A key priority of this role will be to provide a clear, obvious, and familiar avenue of support to the customers living within the allocated geographical area. You will generate and maintain regular contact, signposting any queries and support needs as appropriate.

In addition to the above, you will assist Independent Living Officers and Seniors in the provision of a comprehensive housing management service by delivering excellent Intensive Housing Management support to all our customers.

Your visibility will be maximised via your additional responsibility to monitor, inspect, and report issues sighted within the geographical area allocated to you.
