A fantastic, new opportunity has arisen to become a Recovery Coordinator within our Nottinghamshire Change Grow Live substance misuse service.
As a Recovery Coordinator with Change Grow Live you'll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.
Responsibilities
You will be open, compassionate, and driven to provide the very best care and support for everyone. You will need to be self-motivated with excellent communication skills and be comfortable working with multiple teams internally and externally.
You will need to have experience of managing caseloads of people and know how to manage risk and minimise harm. You will also need knowledge of substance misuse and related issues, through a previous professional role, academic study or from personal recovery experience.
You will be focused on helping people to achieve positive outcomes by coordinating their personalised recovery journey, through thorough assessment and support planning. You will oversee their participation in group programmes, courses, treatment, and medical reviews, whilst continually managing risk and minimizing harm.
Successful candidates have previously worked in the following areas:
NB: This role is based in Nottinghamshire County south covering Hucknall/Broxtowe/Gedling/Rushcliffe.
However as with all our roles it is Nottinghamshire wide and there may be requirements to travel to our other sites accross Nottinghamshire.
Salary Range (pro rata if part time)
CGL points 23 to 28 (£27,449.52 - £31,529.41)

- Substance misuse services
- Rehabilitation services
- Support worker within elderly care or with adults with a learning disability
- Prison service
- Children's services, supporting young people
- Hospitals and other medical practices
- Safeguarding
- An understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field.
- Gender specific working and associated risks and challenges
- People experiencing multiple disadvantages ie: Homelessness, Mental health, Domestic Abuse.
- Experience in managing caseloads of people within a CQC registered service
- A commitment to multi-agency working and establishing partnerships with other professions
- Accomplished written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of personal IT competency.
- The ability to accurately update and maintain records in a timely fashion and to work to deadlines for the submission of information, e.g. reports.
- Excellent time management skills, and an ability to work on own initiative, prioritising accordingly.
- Excellent team working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a highly cooperative approach to supporting colleagues in delivering service objectives.
- Good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice.
