A fantastic, opportunity has arisen to become a Women's worker within our Nottinghamshire Change Grow Live service (based within our Bassetlaw & Newark team). Some women may have experienced trauma & have a genuine reason not to be able to work with men, do you have experience in this area?
You will deliver a bespoke service to complex females with substance misuse issues, including assertive outreach to women who are homeless, and women living in refuges, with a view to enabling them to access services and improve their life opportunities. This role will involve a lot of multi-agency working with other agencies and female specific services, so experience in working this way is essential.
You will be open, compassionate, and driven to provide the very best care and support for everyone. You will need to be self-motivated with excellent communication skills and be comfortable working with multiple teams internally and externally.
Based on Section 7(2) (e) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 applies to this post, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the successful candidate in this role to be a female.

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Full time Salary: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 Dependent on experience (Based on full time hours, pro rata for part time)
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st March 2026

Responsibilities
Successful candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Homelessness
- Mental health
- Criminal Justice System
- Substance misuse
- Gender specific working
- Trauma informed working
- Health and/or social care
- An understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field.
- Experience in managing caseloads
- A commitment to multi-agency working and establishing partnerships with other professions
- Experience of risk assessments and risk management
- Accomplished written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of personal IT competency.
- The ability to accurately update and maintain records in a timely fashion and to work to deadlines for the submission of information, e.g. reports.
- Excellent time management skills, and an ability to work on own initiative, prioritising accordingly.
- Excellent team working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a highly cooperative approach to supporting colleagues in delivering service objectives.
- Good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services and good practice.
- We also expect an assertive approach to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, young people and adults, and applicants to these posts will need to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practice.
- 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays. Additionally, you'll receive one extra day of annual leave for each year of service during your first five years, therefore you will enjoy 30 days of leave after five years with us.
