Are you ready for a fulling role where you can truly make a difference in the lives of others? An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Recovery Coordinator based within our North Cumbria RSC (Recovery Steps Cumbria) Team.

About the role
As a Recovery Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in guiding individuals toward recovery, offering tailored support, and coordinating services for their well-being. If you're passionate about making a difference in people's lives, join us in this impactful position.

You will be working as part of our North Cumbria RSC Team. The team is a multi-disciplinary recovery team comprising of colleagues from diverse professional and personal backgrounds. The team includes Recovery Coordinators, HOPE Workers, Medics, Housing and Criminal Justice workers, Individual Placement Specialists and Volunteers. We are a supportive and welcoming team, who are passionate about supporting and promoting recovery for those we care for and within our local community.

As a Recovery Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
  • Manage a caseload, devising, implementing, and reviewing on-going recovery and treatment plans
  • Facilitate Substance Misuse support groups
  • Facilitate and promote individuals' progression from engagement, through structured treatment, to self-sustained recovery
  • Reduce substance related harm to individuals and the wider community
  • Working collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals
Please note this position is part time (18.75 hours)

About you
To succeed as a Recovery Coordinator,you will ideally have a passion for making a difference and fair chances for all should be at the core of everything you do.

You will have an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or above or equivalent) or willing to work towards this in post. You will have a fantastic understanding of and ability to implement interventions, including brief interventions MI, PSIs, CBT and ITEP, experience of delivering 1-2-1 and group therapeutic interventions.
