Due to recently secured funding to work alongside the Ministry of Justice and the Probation Service, supporting adult males within the criminal justice system, we are recruiting for a Dependency & Recovery Coordinator to support the wider team in shaping this new service provision. Our ideal candidate will already be working within the substance misuse/criminal justice field and be looking to move into a more senior role.

If so, we're seeking an experienced Drug and Alcohol Worker to join our collaboration with Probation in Kent, offering a genuine opportunity to engage in transformative one-to-one therapeutic work with individuals.
Step into the heart of Kent and embrace a remarkable opportunity as a Drug and Alcohol Coordinator working closely with Probation. Hours: 37.5 per week - we would consider part time applications.
Salary: £27,861.26 - £32,002.30 dependent on experience
Where: The postholder will work across East Kent being based in Folkestone or Canterbury.
*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Join us for a truly impactful role that revolves around delivering personalised therapeutic support to referred Adult Males in the National Probation Service region, guiding them through their probation journey.
As a dedicated member of our team, you'll create bespoke sessions and activities tailored to individual needs, aligning with an agreed Action Plan to support each person on probation.
If you require sponsorship, please note that this role is not eligible for a Health and Care Worker visa. You may be eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route but must meet the minimum salary requirements for the role. - Crafting Therapeutic Relationships: Engage in transformative one-to-one sessions utilising a tailored suite of interventions from recognised psychosocial interventions to key work, pod sessions, and group work, your approach will foster positive change and promote harm minimisation through your sessions.
- Action Planning Expertise: Strategically devise Person on Probation Action Plans, customising intensity levels based on Low, Medium, or High needs identified by Probation Practitioners. Each contact with individual will be meticulously updated in the National Probation Service Customer Approved System, ensuring seamless tracking and accountability.
- Empowerment Through Engagement: Ensure thorough feedback collection, liaise closely with Probation Practitioners, and report nonattendance, actively contributing to the holistic progress and engagement of individuals. Conduct risk assessments and manage risks, meticulously triage assessments, and facilitate referrals to an array of community support agencies.
- Innovate for Impact: Embrace creativity and innovation in this role, allowing you to adapt and cater to the diverse needs of each individual particularly those from underrepresented communities. Uphold confidentiality while building trusting therapeutic alliances, making consent to share information a cornerstone of your practice.
