Bakery Court in Ulverston is part of Waythrough's network of recovery-focused services, and we are seeking a Recovery Worker to join our dedicated team at this CQC registered 12-hour supported living site.
Bakery Court provides person-centred support to adults living with mental health condition, helping them build the skills and confidence they need to live more independently in the community.
As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to manage their wellbeing, develop life skills, engage in meaningful activities, and work towards their personal goals.

What You'll Do
- Support residents with daily living tasks (e.g. cooking, cleaning, personal care, routines)
- Provide emotional support and encouragement
- Help residents navigate challenges and celebrate their progress
- Facilitate group sessions and activities
- Work one-to-one on recovery planning and personal goals
- Adapt to varied daily tasks, ensuring each day brings new opportunities to make a positive difference
- Experience in supported living, mental health, care, or social work (preferred)
- A genuine passion for helping others achieve independence
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- Willingness to undertake medication training and the Care Certificate
- Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern including weekends and sleep-ins
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
