The vacancy
Hours: 35 hours per week/70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight)
We are currently looking to recruit a Resident Engagement Coordinator at Housing 21.
Within the role you will be the first point of contact for our involved residents and provide efficient administration around responding to and facilitating Resident Engagement Groups and Forums. This will include monitoring the Resident Engagement in-box and ensuring any enquiries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
Resident Involvement in the Social Housing sector is highly regulated, requiring timely action and responses. This role will be crucial in ensuring Housing 21 is complying to the Transparency, Influence and Accountability consumer standard.
Resident Involvement is paramount and strategic importance to Housing 21, and a positive attitude along with excellent customer service skills are key elements of this role to ensure all stakeholders are effectively supported.

What we're looking for
The essential requirements for the role include:
- Office administration including good knowledge of IT, excel and Microsoft
- Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection legislation.
- Experience of working in a fast paced, high-volume environment and delivery of excellent communication/customer skills service, either in a face-to-face, in writing or telephone environment
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of residents and to the business.
- Housing and/or Care sector experience. (Desirable)
- A basic awareness and knowledge of Resident Engagement within the housing sector. (Desirable)
- Experience of working in a resident engagement environment. (Desirable)
