About the Role As a Care and Supported Housing (C&amp;SH) Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in our middle management team, overseeing the day-to-day operations of services in High Wycombe. Overseeing 2 supported living schemes, your responsibilities will be diverse and impactful. Your primary objective will be to ensure our services remain flexible, responsive, and aligned with the evolving needs of the people we support, ensuring the people we support have a good quality of life. Key Responsibilities Regulation: <ul><li>Ensure compliance with the Care Act 2014 and relevant regulatory frameworks.</li><li>Maintain adherence to National Standards for semi-independent provision.</li></ul>Support Services: <ul><li>Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support services.</li><li>Champion positive risk-taking cultures and promote independence.</li><li>Facilitate effective communication with people we support and stakeholders.</li></ul>Service Development: <ul><li>Drive the development of new services and transformation initiatives.</li><li>Foster key relationships with commissioners and regulatory bodies.</li></ul>Staff Matters: <ul><li>Lead recruitment, induction, and development of staff members.</li><li>Promote a culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.</li></ul>Management: <ul><li>Develop annual plans and uphold organizational policies and procedures.</li><li>Conduct audits and implement quality improvement measures.</li><li>Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.</li></ul>Leadership: <ul><li>Excellent leadership and change management skills.</li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.</li><li>High level of organisational and time management skills.</li></ul>Premises: <ul><li>Oversee maintenance, health, and safety concerns.</li><li>Manage service finances and procurement processes.</li></ul>Records, Reports, and Administration: <ul><li>Maintain accurate records and produce clear reports.</li><li>Ensure compliance with organizational key performance indicators.</li></ul>Special Conditions of Service <ul><li>Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, bank holidays, and weekends if required.</li><li>Participation in an on-call rota.</li></ul>Why Hightown?
