A Typical Week... As an AST Housing Support Worker, you'll help people take real steps toward independence. You'll manage a caseload across South Yorkshire, offering personalised, trauma-informed support that helps tenants thrive and move confidently into independent living. No two days are the same. You'll work closely with partner agencies and other key services across Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham, building strong, wrap-around support networks for each tenant. The role This role: Housing Officer known internally as a Local Housing Manager Location: Office Base - Beeston, Nottingham, NG9 1LA - Covering 60% of properties in Derby - 40% Nottingham Salary Banding: £35,944 - £37,835 - Full Time 37.5hr Fixed Term Contract for a 6 month period. This role Due to Paternity leave MTVH are recruiting for a skilled and experienced Local Housing Manager who can provide excellent housing &amp; estate services to our shared ownership/ leasehold properties within a defined geographical patch. As our Local Housing Manager, you will be the front facing representative of MTVH, coordinating internal &amp; external services to meet the diverse range of needs of our customer base by delivering services both on an individual &amp; local basis to a high standard. It is essential that the ideal candidate has proven previous experience of dealing with customers presenting with complex or challenging needs. This role is predominantly based within office hours of 9-5.30pm working a 37.5hr week Monday to Friday. You will be expected to be out on-site 2 days per week with 3 days spent working from a local office or from home. As with any community-based role, occasional flexibility with working hours will be required and part of your job role will see you participating in supporting our customers with local initiatives and on occasions can involve weekend work, although this is not common. This role will also require you to manage relationships with the Local Authority, External Managing Agents and other External Partners. You will also be the point of contact for customers with respect to general low level ASB complaints, estate services, lease management and enforcement.
