Working hours: 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 7.24 hours per day) Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Location: Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Development Team. We pay an attractive salary of £41,511 - £44,711 and offer access to training and development opportunities. We are seeking a Project Manager to support the Caerphilly Homes Construction Manager to oversee the project management and delivery of live construction projects including our flagship mixed tenure, low carbon development at Oakdale Place and a 45 apartment later living scheme in Risca. During 2025/26 we have a number of new exciting developments to bring forward and need a technically focused, expert project manager to assist. You will form part of a wider project team that includes a quantity surveyor and clerk of works together with a wider consultancy team involving a number of private sector partners. This role is critical to the successful delivery of the Council's ambition to deliver 1000 new homes by 2033. You will have excellent knowledge of relevant legislation relating to the management of anti-social behaviour within a housing setting. You will have significant experience in a community safety or more complex enforcement role which requires multi-agency working. You will be able to use analytical and problem-solving skills to work on own initiative and manage own complex caseload with minimal supervision. You will have a good knowledge of safeguarding, victim centred and trauma informed practices and an awareness of adverse childhood experiences and complex needs. About The Service An exciting opportunity has arisen for committed individuals to work with the Housing Options service to help clients under threat of becoming homeless. The key objective will be to prevent homelessness and to support both individuals and families to secure accommodation. About the job - Working with private sector landlords and letting agents to build a network of working relationships. - To provide support to prevent customers becoming homeless, and help customers secure settled accommodation who are already living in temporary accommodation. - To find appropriate permanent accommodation for customers, with a focus on securing private rented accommodation. - To assess customers support needs in a holistic manner and refer to appropriate agencies. About The Service The Housing Options Service provides advice and assistance to those who are homeless or facing homelessness in the City. About the job The post is part of the Frontline Team, and the post holder will carry out legal assessments and provide advice and assistance to clients who present to the Service as either homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, in discharge of the Council's corporate duty. Homeless Assessment Officers undertake homeless assessments and make legal decisions of the duties owed to clients presenting to the service. The key objective will be to prevent homelessness, and the post holders will be required to produce innovative solutions to help clients either to remain in their homes, or to help them find alternative accommodation. What We Are Looking For From You The post holder will have the ability to work under pressure in what can be a busy environment.
