This includes changing beds, vacuuming, dusting, and thoroughly cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces. Join our team as a Lettings Officer and help manage a unique and varied property portfolio across Cornwall. You'll play a key role in delivering a professional lettings service, working with a supportive team and a wide range of property experts. If you're organised, people-focused, and ready to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you. What it's like to work here You'll work closely with a range of property professionals, including Estate Managers and Building Surveyors, to help manage residential and other lettings. You'll report to an Estate Manager and be part of a small, supportive team responsible for managing our Let Estate in Cornwall. Your main base will be our Regional Office at Lanhydrock. However, you'll frequently work remotely and from other National Trust locations throughout Cornwall. You'll be expected to travel extensively throughout Cornwall, so a full, clean UK driving licence is essential. You'll work 30 hours a week. There is flexibility over hours per day - we'll discuss this in more detail at interview. What you'll be doing You'll deliver a comprehensive and professional lettings service, working collaboratively with property professionals such as Estate Managers and Building Surveyors. This includes all aspects of the lettings and property management process - from marketing and credit checks to preparing schedules of condition, carrying out rent reviews, and supporting property repairs and renovations. Job Description Community Safety Officer About the role This is a hands-on, community-based role where no two days are the same. As member of the Neighbourhood Housing Team, it is how you work with people that matters. Focusing on delivery of tenancy enforcement, focusing on managing cases of anti-social behaviour, playing a key role in supporting Neighbourhood Housing Officers, promoting early intervention and ensuring a consistent and high quality services for our residents. Building and maintaining strong partnerships with external agencies including the Police and Social Services while managing individual case with care and professionalism. We want you to care about where you work and make a difference for these residents and communities. What you'll need to be successful: <ul> <li>Confidence working with people in challenging situations - you'll build long-term relationships with residents, manage sensitive conversations, support vulnerable tenants, and take enforcement action where needed. You'll also represent us in multi-agency meetings, so being calm, credible and professional matters.</li> <li>Experience of delivering a technical service and using legislation - You'll need to be able to demonstrate a knowledge of anti-social behaviour law, legislation, consumer standards, and the RESPECT Charter for ASB, or a similar technical field with experience of working in a housing related field or equivalent, with a working knowledge of anti-social behaviour or conflict management is essential to this post</li> <li>Proven ability to conduct visits and carry out interviews - You'll lead visits and interviews and need to be able to appropriately challenge and deal with difficult conversations.
