The Vacancy This role is based within Platfform's Supported Housing scheme within the Vale of Glamorgan. The scheme is provides tenancy related support to persons with complex and/or enduring mental health needs as evident either through their support history, because they are under the care of secondary mental health services, or both. The successful candidate will provide a range of social, emotional and practical support to people with mental health and associated problems impacting their ability to maintain a stable tenancy, through semi-independent living. The support will be expected to be within commissioner's guidelines i.e. the Supporting People Framework, and in line with Platfform's value base. The role holder will be expected to provide support and mentoring to Support Workers in the development of individual support plans (ISPs) and risk assessments (RAs), as well as take lead during crisis support. Compliance with and maintenance of all necessary administrative and reporting systems will be required. About The Service An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual to join the Tenancy Management Team. The successful applicant will work proactively to ensure that tenants and leaseholders comply with their tenancy conditions or the terms of their lease, providing advice and guidance to tenants/leaseholders and where necessary taking enforcement action. About the job You will have experience of working within a housing related environment including enforcing tenancy/lease conditions via legal action. The use of new technology and experience of working with customers and visiting them in their own homes are also essential. TENANCY OFFICER

The Vacancy Caerphilly supported housing consists of three homes, Ty Oborne, Ty Short and Jubilee House, each home offers a different level of support alongside Star flats which offers people targeted support delivered by a floating support team who work with people who are on the waiting list for one of the homes or moving on to their own accommodation. We work with people who experience challenges with their mental health to achieve their goals and develop the skills &amp; confidence to move on to their own tenancies. We provide social, emotional, and practical support to people experiencing challenges with their mental health and emotional wellbeing that could impact their ability to maintain a stable tenancy.
