JOB OVERVIEW The Multiple Compound Needs service is a two-tiered approach to supporting survivors of domestic abuse whose complex needs means they are not currently suitable for broader, community or residential survivor services. Tier 1 being community based, which provides support to survivors (all genders) experiencing multiple and compound needs but who are not at risk of homelessness or already homeless. Tier 2 being the residential refuge service operating 24/7 365 days per year. The property, based in Eastbourne is for those survivors (female only) who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. Residents will be provided with housing advice, multi-agency liaison, targeted interventions and safety advice as they move towards securing safe accommodation locally. Working as the Housing Officer you will be able to lead on the delivery of Housing Advice and Support for survivors of Domestic Abuse, Substance Misuse, Offending Behaviour, Health Problems (physical and mental) and Homelessness. Located primarily on site, but working within the community too, the Housing Officer role will work with local housing providers, both private and statutory, to support survivors move on from the Service.
