About the role Our Housing Enabling Officers work to deliver the affordable housing which our residents need to give them safety, security and stability in their lives. In this role you will work closely with planners, developers, communities and housing associations to ensure that the right types of affordable homes are built. You will negotiate with housing developers and influence planning decisions on behalf of people in housing need. You will help to complete legal agreements and ensure that they are enforced. You will advise community groups and elected officials to deliver community-led housing schemes. You will analyse data to ensure that we understand our districts' housing needs and make sure that the right homes get built.
