Location: Homebased (with regular travel - covering London and surrounding areas) Contract: 12 month fixed term (with potential to be extended or made permanent) Salary: £38,548 Closing Date: 8 September 2025 The role Part of the Community Liaison team, the Community Liaison Coordinator is an exciting role which forms part of our Advice, Issue Reporting and Eligibility (AIRE) contract at Migrant Help. You will work within a Specialised Services team to develop and maintain partnerships with private, public and voluntary sector organisations. With a view to working with partners to implement projects and meaningful work for our clients through developing a strong network of support whilst being a point of contact within the sector. You will establish practical relationships which may lead to supporting with funding opportunities for partners, partners joining our Commissioning Framework and the delivery of presentations as appropriate to other service providers including advice hubs and voluntary sector agencies. There is also the opportunity to get involved with our Schools Programme. Role responsibilities <ul><li>Establish, build and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholder, community organisations and voluntary sector agencies, within the Asylum Seekers and Refugee sector, including attending regular multi agency forums and stakeholder meetings.</li><li>Develop the network of community support across the region whilst supporting local communities to work together and improve community cohesion.</li><li>Promote and explain Migrant Helps services provided under the AIRE contract through training presentations to voluntary sector organisations to enable them to be proactive in their assistance of our client group.</li><li>To be a key point of contact within the sector and support organisations and agencies to access Migrant Helps services as a complimentary part of the wider support.</li><li>To map regional provision of services (pastoral, health, art, fitness activities etc.) and update the Directory of Local Services to support clients both inside and outside Initial Accommodations and be proactive in noting and actioning service gaps.</li><li>Work in partnership with the AIRE Outreach team to ensure our most vulnerable clients are well supported.</li><li>To plan and coordinate a small number of activities or events for clients over the year</li><li>To instigate and build on working relationships with statutory sector providers such as DWP, JCP, housing and education in order to map integration pathways and facilitate effective move-on.</li><li>Provide a monthly impact report, providing written updates on activity, relationship management (new relationships / contacts made, concerns or issues within existing relationships etc.), highlight potential case studies, provide information on activities we have facilitated and been involved with.
