Job Description About the role We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Liaison Officer to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a field-based role covering the Greater Manchester area. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of an excellent residential management service to homeowner residents. Reporting to the Customer Liaison Manager, you will be part of a dedicated team of Customer Liaison Officers across Greater Manchester. Your key responsibility is to provide an accessible face-to-face service to homeowner residents in your designated area. You will work closely with other Guinness teams to get things done quickly and efficiently to achieve positive outcomes for both Guinness and our residents. The main duties of this role include: <ul> <li>Implement and deliver an excellent residential management service for a patch of blocks and estates, being accountable to residents and other stakeholders for how their homes are managed, money is spent and the services they receive. </li> <li>Manage any on-site management personnel, such as concierge or caretakers, embedding the highest levels of customer service, to ensure estates and buildings are managed to a high standard, and residents and other stakeholders receive an excellent customer experience. </li> <li>Ensure regular inspections of communal areas, retained spaces and public realm so they are maintained to the highest standard and all health and Safety regulations are met. </li> <li>Ensure building maintenance systems are actively monitored, and any alerts are promptly acted upon. </li> <li>Supervise and manage contracted services, such as cleaning, grounds maintenance, security services etc. </li> <li>Ensure reactive repairs, asset compliance and planned maintenance are delivered to an excellent standard. Use expert support when necessary to determine faults and appraise solutions. </li> <li>Work with Finance teams to prepare service charge estimates and year-end accounts, managing services within budget. About The Service Cardiff Council are looking to recruit an experienced and permanent Independent Reviewing Officer/Child Protection Conference Chair to join our growing services for children, young people and young adults. You will be joining a well-established and dynamic team to continue the good work in the Independent Reviewing Service. You will have relevant experience of working with and understanding to roles of an Independent Reviewing Officer and Child Protection Conference chair. Support Worker - Homelessness Services

Job Title: Housing Support Worker Head Office Location: Brindley Place, Birmingham Job Location: Birmingham Salary - £12.14 per hour Contract type - Permanent Working hours - Part time - 21 HOURS About the Service Our GSA refuge is for women and children who have had to flee their homes because of domestic. We provide support families with housing, welfare benefits, mental health, education, and training opportunities. Staff utilise a Support Plan to prioritise key work tasks and activities on a one-to-one basis and as a group. Staff also offer advice and information to empower and equip the women to live independently, within a safe and stable environment free from violence and abuse. Referrals are mainly sourced through the `Routes-to-Support portal managed by Women`s Aid, but the service also accepts direct referrals in line with its internal criteria. The refuge has 16 self-contained flats with a communal lounge, a communal kitchen, a children`s classroom, as well as a communal garden area. It is funded by Birmingham City Council and the property is owned by Green Square Accord. About the role The role is for those who would like to support victims of domestic abuse and their children. Primarily, you will be assisting families to source permanent housing and re-settle back into the community where they will feel safe and free from violence. We do expect the candidate to support service users in the following areas: Provide support to service users to complete a housing benefit application form. Support service users with all aspects of maintaining their tenancy, e.g. making rental payments budgeting and managing their finances. Liaise with our internal Customer First and arrange for void properties to be ready for re-let. Record void vacation and re-let information manually and electronically. Provide support to service users to complete a homelessness application, with the view of securing permanent housing. Assist service user to collate evidence-based documentation to support their housing application. Assist the service user with preparing for appeals where necessary. Manage rent accounts utilising GSA`s rent accounting IT system. Assist service users in reporting repairs. Job Description Our Customer Account Advisors assist our customers, some of whom are in vulnerable situations, with a range of queries relating to rent accounts via various contact channels such as telephone, web chat and emails. Our aim is to resolve all our contact at first point, whilst providing an amazing customer journey. About the role We are looking for a part time Customer Accounts Advisors, (17.5 hours, specific hours to be discussed at interview), to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Customer Accounts team work on a rotational shift pattern covering our core operational hours of 8:00am-8:00pm and offers hybrid working opportunities. The money our customers pay to us in rent or services is what we use to continue building even more homes for people that need them. That's why our Rent, Service Charge and Customer Accounts Team is so important to our success - because they help to protect our income and ensure that we can fulfil our social purpose. The team is part of the Customer Service directorate based out of our office in Oldham and contact with customers is predominately over the phone. Our main purpose is to prevent customers getting into debt and ensure they maintain a healthy account balance. This involves working with new customers to set up monthly direct debits, proactively contacting customers when they have missed a payment, setting up plans to reduce arrears and giving tips and guidance about managing income and avoiding missed payments in the future. What we're looking for Our Customer Accounts Advisors come from a variety of different employment backgrounds, so we know that experience in housing or collections isn't essential. We know that to succeed in this role you need to be dynamic, enthusiastic and target driven with a passion for negotiation. You will be a talented communicator with the ability to manage challenging conversations while delivering a great service. You will find working to targets exciting and motivating.
