Tenant Liaison Officer We have 1x Permanent, Full-time position available with a competitive pay and benefits package including a starting salary of £27,332 a year, rising to £29,805 per year after key competencies of the role are met. Reporting to Senior Tenant Liaison Officer, this role is responsible for being the main point of contact for the customer during any major works that are being conducted at our properties, ensuring our customers are fully informed of progress. By achieving set objectives, the post holder will ensure service demands are met timely, effectively, and efficiently, supporting the delivery of operational plans The role of Tenant Liaison Officer is a pivotal role within our Assets Team as they act as the first point of contact for the major works improvement team. Working closely with contractors, sub-contractors, and Stakeholders as well as the wider community, you will be expected to build and maintain excellent working relationships while ensuring major works projects are being carried out efficiently and effectively for the business and our Contract Holders. To be successful in the role of Tenant Liaison Officer our new team member will have a minimum level of education (GCSE/Level 3 or equivalent) with some knowledge of the housing or construction industry as well as having skills below: <ul> <li>Have excellent relationship building and communication skills, being able to adapt to a wide portfolio of customers while balancing demands in a reasonable manner.</li> <li>Be customer focused, managing expectations whilst informing and supporting tenants through the programme while balancing the needs of the business and our external contractors.</li> <li>Have experience of dealing with contractor, sub-contractors and providers of construction works, ensuring progress and minimal disruption to our tenants.</li> <li>Be able to think critically looking at all possible outcomes and coming to the best solution for the business, contractor, community and tenant alike.</li> <li>Be self-motivated due to the demanding nature of the role where you are expected to travel throughout the borough often lone working.</li> <li>Have a good standard of ICT literacy. Our philosophy is simple. If we can support the individuals who have the most challenging circumstances to remain safely and happily in housing, then we will make significant strides in system change to help reduce the risks of homelessness for everyone. Our Approach 1. Helping People with Multiple Overlapping Unmet Needs (MOUN) - who need support right now (immediate need/ turning off the tap) 2. Putting mechanisms in place to support connectivity across services so that we can evidence the effectiveness of early intervention so multiple needs do not overlap/become 'complex' (evidence for systems change) 3. Changing systems to enable People with MOUN to receive the support they need HOW and WHEN they need (long term systems change). Role Purpose The drug and alcohol workers main objective are to enhance the work currently undertaken by Homelessness Strategy and partnership agencies to provide a multi-agency service focused on addressing the needs of the homelessness cohort of people with complex and multiple needs in the Swansea Bay area. The Engagement Worker roles will provide intensive case management support to people identified as members of the target cohort, which were highlighted by the Swansea. This proposal requests that this service be awarded funding to allow it to become a more visible function within the wider homelessness service provision for people who use substances and are homeless or vulnerably housed.
