The overall aim of this post is to increase access to psychological therapies for homeless people and staff who work with them. We handle both publicly funded (legal aid) and privately funded legal services in homelessness, disrepair, eviction, succession for tenants, neighborhood problems, debt issues and possession proceedings. Our solicitors are highly experienced in finding solutions to housing disputes and aim to address the issues quickly and effectively. The department regularly represents clients at all court levels (including the Higher Courts) and is extensively experienced at handling all housing related judicial review claimant matters at the High Court. Hours: BANK Salary: £12.40 per hour Based at: Llanelli and Carmarthenshire area Role Purpose: Adferiad in Carmarthenshire provides a Supported Accommodation Project in Llanelli and will be developing other Supported Living Services in other areas of Carmarthenshire. The Supported Accommodation, and Supported Living Services supports individuals serious mental illness and complex needs. The Bank Staff member will have the opportunity to work in Llanelli and across other services as they are developed. The support in Adferiad projects will focus on an individuals strengths enabling them to feel safe and secure with the long-term aim of them living independently in their own homes. Staff are to work with service users in areas such as employment, training and education, debt management and daily living skills to promote wellbeing, a healthy lifestyle and independence to live in their community. The Llanelli Supported Accommodation Project is staffed 7 days a week and staff work to a shift pattern which includes unsocial hours and sleep-ins.
