Responsibilities You'll have to record information about what you do, so enjoying a bit of paperwork and attention to detail is important. But most of the time you'll be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives. The role will be within our Countywide Entry into Service Team and will involve being the first contact in opening and assessment of new service users, managing a small caseload through the use of 1 to 1 sessions and pod working. The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team is also essential in ensuring positive outcomes for our clients. About the Role: <ul><li>Provide unwavering support to service users from their initial contact with our service throughout their treatment and recovery journey.</li><li>Implement tailored interventions aimed at reducing the harm caused by substance use, either through group sessions or one-on-one engagement.</li><li>Ensure service users receive a comprehensive, recovery-focused detoxification plan, including pre-detox preparation and post-care support.</li><li>Collaborate with other organisations and the community to enhance the recovery resources available to service users by referring them to mutual aid groups and other networks.</li><li>Advocate for the involvement of family members, service users, and the community.</li><li>Serve as a voice for service users in accessing partnership services.</li><li>Work closely with service users to facilitate their social (re)integration, enabling them to lead fulfilling and purpose-driven lives. Independent Living Scheme Assistant

The Warwickshire Separated Children and Leaving Care Team is based in Warwick at Myton Park. We are a countywide service offering provision up to the age of 25. The Leaving Care team work with care experienced young people, aged 16-25. This role will specifically work with care experienced young people from the age of 16 to reduce homelessness and enable planned approaches through working with local district and borough housing departments, various accommodation providers and other services. The applicant will support young people through a good knowledge of housing legislation and support young people through navigating the system. At times of crisis, the role works to explore alternative options where a young person has been evicted or cannot access housing through traditional routes. The post holder will work closely with Social Workers and Personal Advisers across several teams to find the most appropriate housing solutions for care experienced young people.
