Neighbourhood Services Manager

An opportunity has arisen to be part of our Housing Options Team to support the delivery of housing services within Shropshire. We are recruiting for two Housing Options Officers. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to prevent, relieve and reduce homelessness, by assessing housing needs, providing advice on housing options and assisting households who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless to retain their accommodation or secure alternative accommodation. Housing Options Officer

Maninplace has been responding and supporting people who present as homeless or rough living in Telford for over 17 years. Our staffing team is committed to providing a safe environment that enables customers to develop their confidence, self-esteem and to help them reach their full potential. As a "Housing Officer" you will be part of a dedicated team ensuring we provide a high-quality temporary accommodation service that reduces the risk of a return to homelessness or rough living for customers accessing our provision. The successful candidate must be able to confidently work as a lone worker, they will be flexible, highly self-motivated, and able to turn their hand to all aspects of the role, all while bringing a strong contribution to the organisation. Every aspect of the role will maintain a person-centred approach that supports all customers in a choice-based environment. Your tenacious and resilient nature will ensure every task is completed to a high standard and will promote the wellbeing and confidence of customers accommodated within the service. Hours of Work <ol><li>40 hours per week. </li><li>Working shifts will be between the operating hours of 0930 - 2030 and will include a share of weekend shifts. </li><li>Maninplace operates 365 days a year, therefore shifts will include bank holiday and festive period working. </li></ol> Salary &amp; Benefits <ol><li>£25,667.20 per annum.
