Resident Liaison Officer

Full Time / 37 Hours Per Week / Permanent &amp; Fixed Term for 12 months Do you enjoy supporting people? Are you looking for a new exciting challenge in 2026 here no two days are the same? We are currently recruiting Temporary Accommodation Officers who will all play a key role in providing safe emergency temporary accommodation to a vulnerable and chaotic single homeless cohort within the framework or Leicester City Council's Homelessness Strategy. You'll form part of a 19- person team providing temporary accommodation to single homeless individuals and childless couples. There are full time positions working 37 hours per week from The Dawn Centre on both a permanent and fixed term basis (over 12 months). You'll work a 19-week rota which consists of 12-hour day shifts commencing at 8am and 12 hour waking night shifts which commence at 20.00pm on alternate weeks providing 24/7 365 days per year. We have several significant projects in the pipeline making this a very exciting time and opportunity to join the Dawn Centre. There is both permanent and fixed term full-time positions available. What you'll be doing As a Temporary Accommodation Officer, you'll be undertaking the interviewing, admission and induction of service users on arrival at the Dawn Centre. Another important part of the role is to oversee the maintenance, security and infrastructure of the Dawn Centre and undertake domestic duties when required. The well-being of our individuals is paramount and therefore you'll also conduct regular welfare checks. On occasion, you'll be required to deal with challenging incidents and resolve conflict, often in sensitive situations whilst maintaining order in accordance with Dawn Centre protocols. LET'S CUT STRAIGHT TO ITWe're looking for a Strategic Asset Manager to develop holistic, long-term Water Network solutions that will ensure we adapt and keep pace with our customer needs, growth and climate change. This is a great opportunity to join our team at our site in Derby or Coventry. Key Accountabilities: <ul><li>Develop and implement Network solutions for Growth, Resilience and WINEP.</li><li>Work with Strategy and Regulation department to produce a regulatory submission including the Business Plan for the PR29 Price Review.</li><li>Communicate and roll out PR24 plans to other internal stakeholders (including Senior Management) and gain buy-in for delivery.</li><li>Be a Technical project sponsor to advise developer services on our networks ability to accommodate both domestic and non-domestic growth</li><li>Oversee the investment plan for water networks totalling circa £200m to £250m per annum to ensure the project design delivers the benefit as per the business plan</li><li>Ensure that latest data, learning and best practice is incorporated into our plans and work with the innovation experts to identify exciting new opportunities</li><li>Build external networks of contacts and represent the Company on external groups.</li></ul>WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR About You: You will need to be a strategic thinker, problem solver with a strong grasp of water networks and hydraulics. It goes without saying you'll have excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to influence colleagues of all levels effectively. You will work closely with stakeholders internal and external and work well under pressure to tight deadlines. The ability to compile, analyse, interpret and present complex technical data sets is a must. We want someone who is both a team player as well and competent project sponsor who owns problems until resolution. You'll also hold a full U.K driving licence.
