Scheme Manager - Part Time Marsh Pattinson House, Yeovil £13.01 - £13.42 per hour 20 hours per week We have an opportunity for a Scheme Manager to join our team, ensuring that all properties are managed and maintained in accordance with government legislation. You will be responsible for providing a high quality housing management service which will include providing tenancy advice, following up communal repairs and promoting independent living. This is a rewarding yet challenging role and is ideal for someone who has previous experience of working with older people in a housing management setting and is aware of safeguarding concerns. The role of Scheme Manager will include: <ul> <li>Providing tenancy advice to residents</li> <li>Promoting independent living and sign posting to appropriate agencies </li> <li>Encouraging residents to organise and get involved in activities </li> <li>Completing mandatory compliance tasks along with health and safety checks</li> <li>Reporting and monitoring repairs to conclusion, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed</li> <li>Wellbeing calls to residents via warden call system</li> <li>Supporting the lettings team to manage vacant flats</li> <li>Providing cover at schemes in the region for other Scheme Managers </li> <li>Managing low level anti-social behaviour</li></ul>Skills and experiences: <ul> <li>Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths</li> <li>Some experience of working with older people and understanding their individual needs or similar</li> <li>Ability to work alone and manage workloads to meet deadlines </li> <li>Working knowledge of handling confidential and sensitive information</li> <li>Good interpersonal and customer care skills</li> <li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams</li> <li>Occasional travel may be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential</li></ul>Why work for us?
