We have a team of enthusiastic employees, delivering services they are passionate about.&nbsp;The Role &amp; Responsibilities: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, to support the development and delivery of affordable housing for the Council, and to be responsible for the progression and monitoring of the overall development programme.&nbsp; This role would be ideal for someone experienced in identifying, proactively seeking out, and assessing new affordable housing opportunities. If you are a conscientious, enthusiastic person, with a passion for affordable housing, together with excellent organisational and project management skills, we want to hear from you!&nbsp;This is a key role which will support the council in its ambition to deliver the largest number of new Council Homes in a generation and is a dynamic and exciting time to join this dedicated and growing team.&nbsp;Who We Are Looking For&nbsp;<ul><li>An experienced project manager with experience of project managing the delivery of affordable housing projects, particularly in the pre-contract phase, from project identification to start on site.</li><li>Excellent organisational and time management skills. Experience of undertaking programme management of housing development programmes, with a keen eye for accuracy and detailed record keeping.</li><li>Staff management experience</li><li>Experience of working within Local Authority or Registered Provider regulatory frameworks and working with external funders, such as Homes England.</li><li>Confidence to act as the main point of contact for new development opportunities, including liaising with developers, landowners and agents, carrying out initial assessments and financial viability appraisals.</li><li>GCSE English and Maths grade C or above.</li><li>Qualified to degree level or equivalent</li><li>Relevant Professional Qualification (desirable)</li><li>A full, clean, valid UK driving license</li></ul>&nbsp;What Can We Offer?&nbsp;Dover District Council is a great place to work, with a friendly and supportive environment for you to excel in.
