Where: West Lothian Hours: Part time, 30 hours per week Full Time Salary: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 (based on full time hours, pro rata for part time) Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st March 2027 Responsibilities About the role: <ul><li>Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey </li><li>Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral </li><li>Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community </li><li>Promoting carer, service user and community involvement </li><li>Providing advocacy for access to partnership services </li><li>Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination </li><li>Research, design and prepare subject matter and materials for groups / pods. </li><li>Deliver structured content within group settings to service users at various stages of recovery </li><li>Engage with debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitators after groups/pods have taken place, reviewing progress and identifying concerns with service users </li><li>Tailor specific workshops around the needs of the service users, such as: anger management, sleep disorders, relationships, etc </li></ul>About you: <ul><li>Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field </li><li>Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics, such as conflict or challenging behaviour. </li><li>Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills </li><li>Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills </li><li>Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice </li><li>Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders </li><li>Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users </li><li>Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply all necessary safeguards </li><li>Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professional knowledge and skills and to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others </li></ul>What we will give to you: <ul><li>25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays. Recovery Coordinator

The Community Engagement Manager is central to our efforts to support the communities we serve, beyond our core broadband network. A key role in devising and executing the Highland Broadband Go To Market (GTM) strategy. The role handles both planning, covering settlement level geo-targeting and sales and marketing strategy as well as being a key part in execution. Covering both residential and business, the role identifies key targets for sponsorships, community engagement and 'lighthouse' businesses and sets timelines across the year against which the sales and marketing teams execute. Success is measured by install penetration, project by project. <ul><li>Manage local community engagements including sponsorship opportunities, community hubs, schools, sports clubs and community groups.</li><li>Establish and manage skills training programs with local education providers, with the objective of sourcing employees from within region.</li><li>Increase Highland Broadband awareness and positive sentiment within target communities, identifying projects where our support adds real local value.</li><li>Engage with communities proactively, in person and through online community groups.</li><li>Manage affiliate programs, ensuring local activity supports further uptake of Highland broadband services.</li><li>Review and report on activity, building a knowledge bank of programs and success rates.</li><li>Create PR value through local partnerships and positive news stories.</li></ul>To succeed you will need to be a community-focussed leader with a desire to build strong partnerships and have: <ul><li>Experience managing community engagement and outreach activity.</li><li>Strong verbal / written communication skills.</li><li>Leadership skills with ability to motivate and mentor a field based team.</li><li>Ability to communicate with all levels within a community from MPs to group admins.</li><li>Strong planning skills to manage resources effectively across the regions.</li><li>Strong commercial acumen and good analytical skills to be able to measure success.</li><li>Full Drivers licence</li></ul>
