Job Description Overview The London Borough of Harrow is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused professional to join our Housing team as a Voids Officer. This key role is responsible for managing the end-to-end voids process, ensuring council-owned properties are legally terminated, inspected, and re-let as quickly as possible to minimise rent loss and meet local targets. You will carry out pre-void inspections, oversee property viewings, and provide advice and support to tenants, including those who are vulnerable or in distress. You will play a vital part in monitoring void progress, updating systems, and producing accurate reports to support performance and compliance. Working closely with contractors, internal teams, and external partners, you will ensure properties meet required standards and that all legal and health &amp; safety obligations are fulfilled. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver excellent customer care in a fast-paced environment.
