About The Service Homeless Advice Officer based at the Housing Options Service. The Housing Options Service provides advice and assistance to those who are in housing need in Cardiff. About the job An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual to work with the Housing Options Service. The key objective will be to provide support to the Housing Options Service who provide help to clients who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We are seeking front line Housing Solutions Advisors to join a team that makes a difference and transforms lives. The primary role of the Housing Solutions Advisor is to undertake homeless assessments and process applications to the Authority's Common Housing Register. The key objective to prevent homelessness by producing innovative solutions to clients remaining in the home or finding alternative accommodation. An effective Housing Solutions Advisor will have experience of managing complex and detailed casework.
