Registered General Nurse (Hard to Reach Homeless Community)

Job summary This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated team working with the homeless, hard to reach and difficult to engage clients in Reading. The team provides a range of services via drop-in clinics to clients at a variety of venues including hostels, specific women's services, health screening at probation (offenders), and work closely with the Reading Street Outreach team (St Mungo's) actively going out on the street to engage people rough sleeping. This job will require one morning a week, in a two to four week rotation with the team, working the early morning outreach shift and flexible working shifts 5pm-7pm on a Monday and Thursday as required. Excellent communication skills are essential and a background working within mental health is desirable but not essential. Trusts and Foundations Manager

The Learning and Development Advisor (UK) will provide support to the programmes across the client portfolio. Working as part of the team it is expected that they would have good communication skills both verbal and written, the understanding and the ability to use standard office IT package software (word, excel, powerpoint) would be a significant part of the role. The role requires someone who can impact and influence both managers and colleagues to ensure that learning and development activities are planned in, completely in a timely manner and can also review and analse data to support with reporting on training activities. Responsibilities include: <ul><li>Act as the first point of contact providing advice and guidance on all aspects of Learning &amp; Development.</li><li>Conduct thorough assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs across the teams.</li><li>Develop strategies to promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing. Encourage participation in learning activities through effective communication and engagement activities.</li><li>Work closely with Heads of Profession to identify training requirements ensuring that these are relevant, beneficial and accessible.</li><li>Work closely with the Operations Managers to support the requirement of required training. Tracking, coordinating and managing the mandatory training cycle.</li><li>Coordinate logistics and scheduling the delivery of multiple training requests. Ensuring records are kept up to date.</li><li>Coordinate legal compliance and mandatory courses for relevant colleagues.</li><li>Monitor completion of online courses.</li><li>Coordinate completion of client required courses.</li><li>Process employee career development applications in line with the annual training cycle.</li><li>Analyse performance data and feedback to inform training priorities.</li><li>Forecast and oversee the costs relating to any external training, providing regular updates on output and delivery.</li><li>Continually update employee training records on the HRIS.</li><li>Manage external providers.
