What's the job? This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy Private Sector Housing team, contributing to improving standards and health outcomes for our residents. You will investigate complaints, apply housing standards and take enforcement action to make properties safe and healthy. You will assist in the delivery of grants and financial assistance to adapt and repair properties, and energy efficiency initiatives to achieve low carbon and warm homes. What's our vision? Private Sector Housing Officer

Housing Officer - Independent Living Based in Kent with regular travel around the South East £34,531 per year (pro rata) Temporary position for up to 6 months 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 08:30am - 5:00pm We are seeking a Housing Officer to join our Independent Living team that is part of the East and Southeast Region on a 6 month temporary basis. You will be working in a team of 5 Housing officers and managing a team of Scheme Managers. This is a varied opportunity that will see you managing a range of situations and helping to build key relationships between Sanctuary Housing and our tenants. You will have excellent negotiating skills and a flexible approach to working, as you will be required to attend some evening meetings. You will also be expected to work in a professional manner to resolve problems and improve services.
