Housing Officer - Young People Supported Accommodation Location: Cheltenham Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week - Monday - Friday 7.5 hour working days. They are looking for a Housing Officer, to provide housing management services to residents living in their Supported Accommodation buildings for young people based in Gloucester and the Lydney, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday (9 am-5 pm), in their Housing Management team. If you have excellent written, numeracy and verbal communication skills, and can take a robust but sensitive approach with people, with relevant housing experience, apply today! What will you be doing? You will be able to help navigate their residents successfully through their licences/tenancies, working within a team geared towards managing all tenancy-related issues that arise. Experience in Housing Management is not essential, as full training will be given, but transferrable skills and a keen interest to learn are. This role will be based at the accommodation sites communicating with the young people and helping to ensure their living area is safe and habitable. They'll be working closely with the support team on-site to ensure the best possible outcomes for their young people.
