Role purpose<ul><li>To provide an excellent, pro-active, efficient and tenant focused general and intensive housing management service to IKE tenants.</li><li>The role is to provide a service to our tenants from their first enquiry about IKE to the last communications we have, whether it be tenancy, property or any service that IKE provide or a dissatisfaction with a external partner IKE use.</li><li>You will be the first point of contact for our tenants and support providers for any tenancy matters, including but not limited to tenancy sign ups, void property management, health and safety concerns or other issues to sustain excellent communities and tenancy breaches/ASB.</li><li>To achieve and improve the service delivery standards, identifying any areas of concern for improvement.</li><li>To achieve improvements in tenant satisfaction with improved tenant contact, visits to sites and improved engagement work.</li></ul>Responsible for<ul><li>Delivery of working within the RSH Standards for vulnerable tenants including people with learning disabilities and / or Autism, people with physical disabilities and people suffering with mental health problems.</li><li>General &amp; Intensive Housing Management Responsibilities.</li><li>Community Engagement &amp; Partnerships.</li><li>Delivery of excellent customer services.</li><li>Working collaboratively with internal and external partners to achieve agreed objectives.</li></ul>About You<ul><li>Experience of working in social housing, preferably in a specialist supported setting with our tenant group – desirable.</li><li>Housing Related Qualification – desirable.</li><li>An awareness of current housing, welfare and neighbourhood management issues – desirable.</li><li>Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft packages – essential.</li><li>Excellent level of general education (numeracy and literacy) – essential.</li><li>Experience of delivering excellent customer services that meet individual needs.</li><li>Experience or ability to work in a fast-paced customer service environment with a track record of delivering against multiple competing objectives.</li><li>Ability to work independently and with colleagues to ensure delivery of individual performance and team objectives/KPI.</li><li>Be articulate, analytical and be able to focus on attention to detail at all times.</li><li>Tenant Law and Legislation is essential.&nbsp;</li></ul>About Us IKE Supported Housing Ltd is a social landlord that was established in March 2003 as a Not for Profit Housing Association. Independent Living Co-Ordinator

Job Description About the Role We have a new permanent opportunity for an Independent Living Advisor to join our team. The successful individual will be based out of our schemes in Gloucester and Cheltenham but will be required to assist with our sister schemes as and when. Reporting to the Independent Living Manager, you will be responsible for providing an intensive housing management service to our customers. This will include developing successful customer relationships, assisting prospective customers to view properties and settle into their accommodation, assisting in tenancy management matters and ensuring customers understand their rights and responsibilities under their tenancy agreement. You will also assist customers to access correct housing benefit assistance or financial advice to pay rent/service charges, complete referrals for assistive technology, aids and adaptations which will help to maintain customer independence. You will carry out periodic site inspections and tests to ensure the scheme is fully operational and Health and Safety compliant, as well as monitoring the quality of contractors, such as window cleaning and grounds maintenance. You will need to be flexible and willing to travel between our schemes in Gloucestershire, plus occasional cover outside of these areas. Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
