We are looking for a Recovery Coordinator (leading in alcohol) to join our Nottinghamshire service (based in our Worksop &amp; Newark team). You will need to have experience of managing caseloads of people and know how to manage risk and minimise harm. Where: Nottinghamshire (based with our Worksop &amp; Newark team) Hours: Part Time, 22.5 hours per week. Salary: £16,469.71 - £18,917.65 dependent on experience (based on 22.5 hours per week, paid pro rata) Responsibilities About the role: <ul><li>Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey </li><li>Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral </li><li>Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community </li><li>Promoting carer, service user and community involvement </li><li>Providing advocacy for access to partnership services </li><li>Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination </li><li>Research, design and prepare subject matter and materials for groups / pods. </li><li>Deliver structured content within group settings to service users at various stages of recovery </li><li>Engage with debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitators after groups/pods have taken place, reviewing progress and identifying concerns with service users </li><li>Tailor specific workshops around the needs of the service users, such as: anger management, sleep disorders, relationships, etc </li></ul>About you: <ul><li>Experience in managing caseloads</li><li>Good working knowledge of alcohol-related harm and risks</li><li>A commitment to multi-agency working and establishing partnerships with other professions </li><li>Accomplished written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of personal IT competency.</li><li>The ability to accurately update and maintain records in a timely fashion and to work to deadlines for the submission of information, e.g. reports.</li><li>Excellent time management skills, and an ability to work on own initiative, prioritising accordingly.</li><li>Excellent team working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a highly cooperative approach to supporting colleagues in delivering service objectives.</li><li>Good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services and good practice.</li><li>An understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field.</li></ul>What we will give to you: <ul><li>25 days holiday (+ bank holidays) rising by for each years' service "Capped at 30 days", Pro Rata</li><li>Paid 'Wellness' hour each week along with a 'Wellness' hub and Employee Assist Programme </li><li>Contributory pension scheme </li><li>Several benefits incl. discounts for shopping, cinema, holidays, etc. </li><li>A friendly and supportive team </li><li>Training, career development &amp; progression opportunities </li><li>Generous Refer-a-Friend Scheme </li></ul>Please ensure that when completing your application form and supporting statement, you reflect on the details outlined in the job description.
