Housing Manager Cumbria - Maryport area Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw) Salary £29,000 (increasing to £32,000 upon passing probation) plus great benefits including Health Cash Plan Home, a place where you belong Join us as a Housing Manager at Home Group, in our awesome housing team in Maryport. You'll be our face-to-face customer support to our estates, ensuring we provide safe homes and communities where people choose to live, while also ensuring our income is maximised. You'll provide first class customer service, delivering our customer promise every day! Typical day as a Housing Manager <ul> <li> Through visibility, engagement with customers and proactivity on our estates, you'll really get to get to know our communities. </li> <li> You'll look after a number of patches and neighbourhoods (ably supported by our Community Housing Assistants). </li> <li> Through visibility, engagement with customers and proactivity on our estates, you'll really get to get to know our communities. This will help us to improve our local neighbourhoods. </li> <li> Proactively managing anti-social behaviours in our estates, responding to customer queries and complaints. </li> <li> Managing our voids process including liaising with local authorities. </li> <li> Carry out estate inspections, engaging and meeting with contractors on site, as well as carrying out and recording the routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities. </li> </ul>Fancy going home each day knowing that you have helped change our customers lives for the better? About You <ul> <li> You are experienced in the housing sector and understand housing management, housing law and in an ideal world, universal credit too! </li> <li> You have, or are willing to work towards Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3 </li> <li> Super organised and methodical in your approach, you're also a proactive self-starter with a "can do" positive attitude </li> <li> Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and have a genuine desire to help your customers. </li> <li> This job can challenge, especially when we're dealing with complaints, but your resilience will help you through. </li> <li> Confident working with external partners and stakeholders such as local authorities, MP's etc </li> <li> Like being part of a team but appreciate that this is a role where you'll spend most of your time working in our local estates. </li> </ul>Due to limits on our current certificates of sponsorship, we are not able to offer sponsorship to external candidates for this role. Job details <ul> <li> This is a hybrid role and in an average week, you'll spend 3 days working from our community patches around Maryport and local villages. </li> <li> Although you'll spend time in our neighbourhoods, we do get together regularly, we spend 2 days in the office at Maryport and sometimes days working from home catching up on admin. </li> <li> Flexible working hours or There may be some flexibility to adapt your working hours, do let us know about this when you meet us at the interview </li> <li> We mainly work Monday to Friday and work occasional evenings to meet with customers. The great news is that you'll be able to shape your own diary. </li> <li> To get from A to B, you'll need a vehicle insured for business purposes.
