We are looking for candidates with skills and experience that includes experience within a housing management and/or home ownership environment, computer literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, good all round communication skills, contributes positively within a team and across teams. CCHA owns and manages more than 7,400 homes across the North of England in Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and North Lancashire. Typical day as a Housing Manager <ul><li> Through visibility, engagement with customers and proactivity on our estates, you'll really get to get to know our communities. </li></ul><ul><li> You'll look after a number of patches and neighbourhoods (ably supported by our Community Housing Assistants). </li></ul><ul><li> Through visibility, engagement with customers and proactivity on our estates, you'll really get to get to know our communities. The great news is that we'll pay your mileage! </li><li>You'll need a Standard DBS check done and we pay for that. You Bring </li><li> You are experienced in the housing sector and understand housing management, housing law and in an ideal world, universal credit too! </li><li> You have, or are willing to work towards Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3 </li></ul><ul><li> Super organised and methodical in your approach, you're also a proactive self-starter with a "can do" positive attitude </li></ul><ul><li> Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and have a genuine desire to help your customers. </li></ul><ul><li> This job can challenge, especially when we're dealing with complaints but your resilience will help you through. </li></ul><ul><li> Confident working with external partners and stakeholders such as local authorities, MP's etc </li></ul><ul><li>Like being part of a team but appreciate that this is a role where you'll spend most of your time working in our local estates.
