What you will be doing Working as part of our team of holiday heroes, you will be cleaning and preparing guest accommodation to our high, high standards - and then a little bit higher! This includes changing beds, vacuuming, dusting, and thoroughly cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces. Always with the aim of making your contribution to someone's holiday count every bit as much as the food they eat and the fun they have. And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. As long as you're happy to help even when it's 'not your job,' you're our sort of person. One more thing...holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too. Skills, experience, and qualities you'll need We'll provide training, but you must: <ul><li>Have an awareness of what clean means - which includes attention to detail and getting a genuine thrill from a job well-done</li><li>Have a friendly and helpful attitude - delightful when you meet guests and good at communicating within your team.</li><li>Be open to learning - experience isn't as important as eagerness to learn</li></ul>It's about your values too. Job Description About the role We're looking for a passionate, place-based leader to take a hands-on role in managing our neighbourhoods and supporting tenants across Cornwall. As a Neighbourhood Housing Manager, you'll lead a team of Neighbourhood Housing Officers within a geographic patch, helping to deliver high-quality tenancy and neighbourhood services that are focused on sustaining tenancies, resolving housing issues, and creating safe, thriving communities. Working closely with your Regional Housing Manager and local partners, you'll be the person who connects people and services, championing tenant voices and making sure our homes and neighbourhoods reflect what matters most to residents. Whether you're responding to safety concerns, tackling anti-social behaviour, or supporting new tenants to settle in, this role is all about building relationships and working collaboratively to provide decent homes and support strong, resilient communities. About you To be successful, you'll be/have: <ul> <li>Proven experience of leading, motivating and coaching teams to deliver high quality customer-facing services.</li> <li>Evidence of applying technical skills; either landlord and tenant law, housing legislation, anti-social behaviour or equivalent in a similar service, with the ability to solve a problem and find creative solutions to complex issues.</li> <li>A willingness to be a visible leader and positive role model, showing resilience and remaining calm under pressure to make good decisions, juggling changing priorities on a daily basis. </li> <li>Experience of partnership working with internal and external agencies, of obtaining successful outcomes from multi-agency meetings.</li> <li>Ability to manage escalations and complaints in housing or similar service environment, turning difficult conversations around to build positive and trusted customer relationships.</li> <li>A passion for engaging service users, developing plans and leading events which bring us closer to our communities. </li></ul>To find out more about the role and requirements, please view the Role Profile.
