What your days could look like: • Enhance the guest experience at every opportunity, from initial contact to farewell. • Proactively identify and resolve problems, staying one step ahead. • Handle guest-related issues promptly and smoothly. • Address any complaints personally and in a timely manner. • Possess in-depth knowledge of the hotel, policies, systems, and procedures to promptly address guest inquiries. • Support and train host team members to ensure their understanding of the hotel and their responsibilities. • Ensure the host team remains guest-focused, embodying the hotel's spirit and values. • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of guest-facing areas by coordinating with maintenance and housekeeping teams. • Stay updated on allergy procedures and serve as the main contact for related inquiries. • Familiarise yourself with the end-of-day (EOD) process and liaise with the Accounts team as needed. • Handle bookings using the appropriate systems across the resort. • Conduct thorough booking checks to ensure guests are well-informed and excited for their stay. • Fulfill any additional duties assigned by senior management. • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Licensing laws. • Be the initial point of contact for First Aid. • Assume the role of fire warden during alarm activations. • Embrace and embody the Watergate Bay Hotel brand at all times.
