What You'll Be Doing <ul> <li>Liaising daily with residents and leaseholders to arrange access, surveys, and appointments</li> <li>Acting as the first point of contact for tenant queries, concerns, and complaints</li> <li>Ensuring all communications are honest, clear, and empathetic</li> <li>Supporting site teams with Health &amp; Safety checks and compliance</li> <li>Maintaining accurate records of inspections, complaints, and meeting actions</li> <li>Collaborating with subcontractors, surveyors, project managers, and clients to ensure works meet specifications and resident expectations</li> <li>Helping resolve disputes and damage claims professionally</li> <li>Carrying out audits and site safety checks</li> <li>Ensuring the business remains compliant with OF and Health &amp; Safety regulations</li></ul> What You'll Bring <ul> <li>Strong communication and listening skills</li> <li>Confidence dealing with complaints and resolving issues</li> <li>A proactive, supportive, and organised approach</li> <li>Cultural awareness and empathy for diverse tenant needs</li> <li>IT proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li> <li>Asbestos Awareness (desirable)</li> <li>Full UK Driving Licence (essential)</li> <li>Bilingual skills (a bonus!)</li></ul> Why Join WPS? The Vacancy Resident Liaison Officer - WPS Location: Swindon Division: Planned Maintenance Salary: Competitive Experience in Retrofit Required We have an exciting opportunity for a Resident Liaison Officer to join our team at WPS, working within our Planned Maintenance division. You'll cover the Swindon area, supporting residents on Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund retrofit projects, which include: • Scaffolding • Window &amp; Curtain Wall Replacements • Brickwork &amp; Concrete Repair • External Wall Insulation (EWI) ...and more! Key Responsibilities: • Set up, manage, and deliver the Tenant/Customer/Resident Liaison Service across multiple retrofit sites. • Attend regular client and tenant meetings to ensure the highest level of customer service. • Ensure a consistent and professional approach to customer care throughout retrofit works. • Act as a point of escalation for tenant complaints and manage the resolution process. • Maintain and update the on-site database to reflect ongoing retrofit activities. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, specifically within retrofit and planned maintenance programmes. • Strong knowledge of internal and external works related to retrofit projects. • Excellent communication, customer service, and IT skills. • Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle.
