Job Title: Trusts &amp; Foundation Manager - London Transport Museum (LTM) Salary: £36,850 plus benefits (see more information below): Contract: Full time - LTM - Permanent Location: Cranbourn Street (Leicester Square), and hybrid working. Until our new office is ready you may be asked to work at our Palestra Office (Southwark, London). Key Accountabilities <ul><li>Identify and develop new funding opportunities from trusts and foundations based on your understanding of all areas of the Museum's work </li><li>Take on a portfolio of trusts and foundations of various sizes and at different stages of engagement and, through research, effective communications and a cogent eligible application, secure income</li><li>Support relationship development and income generation from funders with whom the Museum already has a strong relationship including Arts Council England and the National Lottery Heritage Fund</li><li>Maintain project oversight of successful grant applications. </li><li>Manage meticulous data and administration processes and oversight of key milestones, KPIs and an application pipeline</li><li>Ensure all reports are written and completed in a timely and professional manner as part of a personalised approach to supporter care </li><li>Undertake all activities in line with best practice standards and processes as set out by the Institute of Fundraising and industry regulatory bodies.</li><li>Keep up to date on the latest trends and developments within fundraising and ensure London Transport Museum remains competitive, innovative and sector-leading</li><li>Work alongside colleagues to contribute to the overall strategy and success of the Marketing and Development team embedding a culture of fundraising and philanthropy across London Transport Museum</li></ul>Skills, Knowledge &amp; Experience Knowledge <ul><li>Knowledge of trusts and foundations funding landscape (Essential)</li><li>Knowledge of researching trusts and developing and managing a prospect pipeline </li><li>Knowledge of approaching trusts and building personal relationships with funders</li><li>Knowledge of developing successful complex proposals and applications </li><li>Knowledge of reporting and stewardship of relationships with funders </li><li>Knowledge of GDPR and fundraising legislation and compliance </li></ul>Skills <ul><li>Computer and database literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office </li><li>A flair for writing excellent, succinct applications which both meet the funders criteria and bring charitable activity to life</li><li>Highly collaborative and able to work with colleagues across the Museum to identify and maximise income opportunities</li><li>Ability to work under pressure, prioritise both strategically and operationally and manage time effectively to meet deadlines</li><li>Attention to detail, editing and proof-reading skills</li><li>Enthusiastic, confident, and self-motivated</li><li>A tenacious, driven and flexible approach and a can-do attitude</li><li>Committed to working with the team to meet income targets</li><li>Enthusiasm for the Museum and its ambition</li></ul>Experience <ul><li>Proven track record of working closely with delivery teams to identify projects and programmes that are attractive to a particular funder, or design new projects that are a strategic priority for that service.</li><li>Developing and project managing multi-year applications to funders </li><li>Successful income generation including personally securing five figure gifts from trusts and foundations</li><li>Experience of liaison with trust administrators, trustees and those with a capacity to give at a high level.</li><li>Experience of working with Finance teams and financial management systems to meet the financial requirements of funding awards </li><li>A track record of delivering against agreed targets, timescales and objectives, of managing multiple projects, and of working with internal and external colleagues to achieve goals</li><li>Experience of developing and implementing fundraising pipelines </li><li>Excellent database management skills and awareness and ability to act on data insight</li></ul>Equality, diversity, and inclusion We are committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion. Senior Policy Advisor (social housing supply and planning)

THE ROLE Join the 24-7 Prayer team! We're looking to recruit a skilled and strategic Trusts and Foundations Manager who is passionate about weaving stories and stats together in a way that inspires funders to support 24-7 Prayer. You'll be someone who loves building genuine relationships with funders, can seek out new opportunities, manage numerous existing relationships to a high standard, and write compelling applications. In this role, you'll bring experience in Trusts and Foundations fundraising. You'll have effective and excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for making funders feel truly connected to our movement. We are a relational movement and seek someone who both values and demonstrates authentic connection with people. Alongside this, you will have a personal passion for prayer, mission and justice. This role would suit someone with previous experience of working with grant makers, and we'd also be open to hearing from people with transferable skills. This role can be either based in our Woking office or a hybrid role.
