This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to be part of a leading children's theatre. You will be responsible for trust and foundation fundraising at Polka Theatre, overseeing and relationship managing a strong base of loyal funders alongside growing grants funding from new sources. The postholder will fundraise for a range of programmes, with a particular focus on Creative Learning and Access programmes which enable children from all backgrounds to benefit from Polka's theatre productions, creative workshops, school programmes and community activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative communicator, who is passionate about improving the lives of children and who can build rapport with a range of stakeholders. You will have a sound knowledge of the public sector and current policy and political issues affecting it. You will be able to evidence previous experience in project management on at least three major projects, preferably in the public sector and using nationally accredited methodologies.
