Make a real difference in your community

Are you passionate about helping others live safer, healthier, more independent lives? Join our team at Waythrough and support people facing challenges around mental health, substance use, housing or domestic abuse. This is more than just a job - it's a chance to build meaningful relationships and create lasting change.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for two full-time Recovery Coordinators.

As a Recovery Coordinator, you will provide tailored 1:1 support for service users-ranging from brief interventions to structured treatment and group facilitation. Every recovery journey is unique, and you will ensure care is individualized to meet each person's specific needs and priorities.

Taking a holistic, "whole person" approach, you'll help build comprehensive care packages that encompass all areas of a service user's wellbeing, supporting them toward safe community reintegration and sustainable, long-term outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Caseload Management: Devise, implement, and review ongoing recovery plans and structured treatment.
  • Assessments: Conduct initial triage/screening and comprehensive assessments with service users.
  • Collaborative Working: Partner with external agencies to undertake shared assessments, key working, and targeted interventions to support service users from initial engagement to self-sustained recovery.
  • Community Integration: Facilitate access to local resources and treatment options to increase service users' recovery capital and social connections.
  • Digital & Risk Management: Utilize the online case management system (SystmOne) to handle recovery planning, safeguarding, and risk management processes efficiently.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Experience managing an active caseload.
  • Strong knowledge and/or experience in the substance misuse sector.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting vulnerable individuals affected by alcohol and/or drug use.
  • A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care.
Please Note: Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we reserve the right to close this advert early once sufficient applications are received. We encourage early submission to avoid disappointment.
