Roles and Responsibilities : How the Expected Outcomes are Achieved <ul><li>Produce strategic/operational L&amp;D plans with HoHR to link L&amp;D activities to business outcomes.</li><li>Provide advice and guidance on all L&amp;D initiatives, activities, plans to line managers and employees</li><li>Monitor and review each business L&amp;D budget and produce regular reports on costs/spend</li><li>Complete all Learning and Development related administration e.g. training authorisation forms, producing and tracking of Learning and Development budget.</li><li>Manage and coordinate the Training Email Inbox and as required respond to escalated requests in an efficient and timely manner e.g. Booking requests, certificate requests and provision of information to clients.</li><li>Manage the tracking of expiry dates of mandatory training and competencies (as per specific job description or determined in the competency/ skills matrix) and booking refreshers as required. Learning and Development Advisor

About the role No day is the same with the variety of responsibilities as a Learning and Development Officer at SSAFA. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring a seamless and enriching learning experience for employees, working closely with the Learning &amp; Organisational Development Manager and the broader People team to foster a culture of continuous learning across the organisation. You will serve as the primary contact for all enquiries, managing the entire lifecycle of learning and development events - from researching external providers to evaluating feedback. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing the Learning Management System (Litmos), maintaining accurate training records, and promoting learning initiatives through internal communication platforms. Additionally, you will support data management and analysis to inform learning strategies and contribute to various development projects. This role is a full-time position; however consideration will be given to a 4-day working week for the ideal candidate.
