We are looking for someone to join us on a fixed term contract (maternity cover) as our Learning and Development Advisor. Hybrid working is available- some days in our office in Bristol will be required. Most facilitation is done face to face in our Bristol or Swindon offices. As our Learning and Development Advisor, your responsibilities will include: <ul><li>Designing and facilitating engaging training programmes </li><li>Supporting the roll out of our in-house leadership programme </li><li>Coordinating external funding submissions to support learning initiatives</li><li>Overseeing our apprenticeship opportunities</li><li>Supporting the overall support L&amp;D team provide to colleagues </li><li>Leading on our onboarding programme </li></ul>We'd love to hear from you if you have: <ul><li>Significant experience as an independent facilitator who can engage and inspire. The role is varied and will involve delivery, design and management of learning to support staff and volunteers within our Witness Service delivered by Victim Support. As the face of learning and development for the Witness Service within the organisation, you will build positive relationships, promote learning and act in an advisory capacity when it comes to development. You will; <ul> <li>Deliver and design face to face and virtual training for our volunteers, staff and partners. There is an expectation that you will deliver 4 days per week, with 1 days administration work and time allocated for design projects.</li> <li>Work with Subject Matter Experts and senior staff both within Victim Support and external stakeholders on learning projects relevant to the Witness Service.</li> <li>Create accurate delegate reports and take appropriate action to address any identified under-performance.</li> <li>Deliver high quality presentations and learning interventions with a focus on evaluation and continuous improvement.</li> <li>It is essential to be able to work without direct supervision, prioritise work and deal with competing and conflicting demands in an organised and effective manner.</li> </ul>You will need to work flexibly as required and whilst the the role is home-based there will be a requirement for moderate travel throughout England and Wales.
