About us
EHA has provided exempt supported accommodation for refugees and BME tenants for nearly two decades through lease-based and managing agent models.
Our History
- Founded in 2003, in response to increasing housing needs within BME and socially excluded communities.
- Registered in 2004 as a company limited by guarantee and as a charity.
- Became one of the few housing associations established specifically for refugees and BME groups in 2006.
- Operates debt-free since inception, supported initially through donations from founding members.
Our Operations
- We provide over 400 units of exempt supported accommodation in Birmingham and London, managed on behalf of private landlords.
- Our 18 Coventry units are managed by managing agents.
- Our offices are located in Croydon and Birmingham.

To provide high-quality, affordable, and culturally sensitive housing and support that enables refugees and vulnerable individuals to rebuild their lives and participate fully in their communities.
