About the role
For this role, you will need to have experience of accommodation service, ideally within the education sector, as well as proven administrative experience. In this role, you will provide customer-focussed support to students, and use KX and Kinetics to maintain the database.
Duties:
• Provide high-quality, customer-focused support to students regarding all accommodation queries, arrivals/departures, and related matters throughout the academic year.
• Assist with issuing and managing license agreements, maintaining accurate occupancy records in the Kinetics/Kx system, and supporting the allocation process for term-time and vacation accommodation.
• Support the organisation of room draws, Fresher allocations, and ensure rooms are properly equipped, inspected, and maintained in line with College standards.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Maintenance, Lodge, Finance, and external bodies such as the City Council to ensure smooth accommodation operations.
• Help manage accommodation inventory, assist with furniture procurement and refurbishment scheduling, and contribute to maintaining high standards of room condition and availability.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintain accurate council tax and occupancy records, and support the completion of required reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Selection criteria:
• Experience of accommodation service and/or the provision of excellent customer service, ideally within the education sector or on a multi-site basis.
• Proven administrative experience.
• Experience in developing and implementing improvements to procedures.
• Experience of using room management database systems such as Kinetics KX is highly desirable.
• Excellent IT skills including a high level of competence in using Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and databases.
