- Full-time role, 12-week assignment: Manage and optimise accommodation and room allocations within a prestigious Oxford Department,
- Leadership & Coordination: Oversee accommodation policies, handle student and guest bookings, and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Ideal Candidate: Experienced in accommodation or conference services, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a commitment to high standards.
Role Details & Responsibilities
As a Temporary Accommodation Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Overseeing all activities, policies, systems, and records related to the College's accommodation stock.
- Managing room allocations, including student rooms, commercial guests, and issuing licences to occupy while optimising occupancy and revenue.
- Ensuring compliance with accommodation codes and relevant regulations.
- Line managing the Accommodation Assistant and ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Addressing and resolving any accommodation issues or complaints, maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and conducting risk assessments.
- Completing other reasonable duties as required.
- Experience: Proven experience in accommodation or conference services within a university college, hotel, or similar environment.
- Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. High-level competence with IT systems, especially room management software like Kinetics KX.
- Customer Focus: Excellent administrative skills with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
